I did these sketches a few months ago, and found them when I was going through an old sketchbook, so thought it would be good to put them up here...

An exciting post today for a few reasons, mainly because I am writing this from my BRAND NEW iPad! A present from my husband. It is going to be great for work, personally and professionally, as well is hopefully getting me nice and organized.
It's also exciting because I am writing with my new determination to update here much more often. Ideally every day, if not at least a few times a week...
And hopefully having an Ipad will encourage me to.
Until next time then...

DIY print from Bloesem Kids
I went to The British Museum with an illustrator friend (yes Tor, I mean you of course!) and my son Dylan and on the way there we popped into Blade Rubber Stamps. We were hoping to find a DIY stamp kit, and hurrah, we were in luck! They had a kit with a rubber block for carving and basic tools to do the job as well. I bought a kit, but have been waiting to figure out what I want to carve. I've been having quite a dino-tastic time at home with Dylan, the dino-obsesssive, so maybe a dinosaur.
Then I came across this blog post from Bloesem Kids, a blog that I follow (http://bkids.typepad.com/intro/). I brilliant way of making a font...

It's the car boot sale season again, hurrah! So I'l be looking out for any DIY stamping opportunities. I'll keep you posted...

Pen and ink
I've been doing some pen and ink drawings recently...
Just whatever came into my head really, quite odd to see what comes out actually!
